Welcome to The WebStation Internet Radio and TV Database. Listen live to your favorite radio station or watch your favorite TV channel!
We have the largest database on the Internet with links to stations from all over the world. Search our database, browse through region or genre,
tune and listen to or watch stations, add new and manage existing stations and maintain your personal favorites. The database is also a front-end
to owners of the stand alone radio players that originate from Penbex and SkyTC. It is also available as a front end to the owners of a Turtle Beach
AudioTron Internet radio player as a replacement of TurtleRadio and to users of GB-PVR. Enjoy!

2012/03/05 New ListenLive Firmware available for download
Do you want more joy out of your Internet Radio and TV device? get the ListenLive firmware!
Compared to the original firmware, the listenlive firmware offers many additional features including news, weather forcasts, twitter, stock market data,
direct access to some of the top content providers, full control over screen brightness, volume presets, auto play at startup, sleep timer,
many alarm presets, a failsafe mode and access to over 30.000 Internet Radio, TV, Podcast, Vodcast and Shoutcast links from the Listenlive database.
We now even have experimental recording options. Also you can manage your favorites via our webserver and see them on your device and
add or edit any missing or broken station you can find.
Feedback on the latest 1.4 firmware can be found here: Read more
Note: Remember that updating the firmware is not without risk. The device might become useless when the flash process fails. In case of problems you can contact me via mail.
Note2: It turns out that that manufacturer has decided to not include the recovery mode that is present on some models.
Obviously this makes it harder to recover from a failed flash proces (it is not impossible though!)
Loading Listenlive firmware:
To load firmware 1.4 you need to be on listenLive firmware 1.0 or higher or have a ListenLive loader installed.
If you are still on the original firmware you first need to install the "loader" firmware.
The loader firmware has to be loaded as a regular firmware update. Thus via SD or Internal flash memory.
Once you have installed the loader firmware and the system reboots you get into a text mode screen. This screen has only one function. To flash your device with a new firmware.
The loader will wait for the OK button to be pressed. Once you do, the firmware file is tested and flashed. On some models it will also perform a cleanup operation because the manufacturer left behind some garbage.
Note: for each model there will be a specific loader! If your loader is not available yet it will be soon. Trying other loaders is useless as that will not work.
Upgrading from an original firmware to the Loader should not take long. Whatever you do do not cut power until during the update.
Upgrading from the loader to the Listenlive firmware takes a lot longer since much more data has to be written. Again do not cut power during the process.
Step by step from original firmware to Listenlive firmware:
- put loader firmware on the device (or SD if the original firmware supports that -usually 1.86 and higher-)
- perform the firmware update via the setting menu
- the device will reboot when done and start with a text screen
- put the listenlive firmware on an SD card
- insert SD and perform the firmware update by pressing the OK button
- the device will reboot when done and start with the ListenLive menu screen
Note: On the Arnova the 1.0 update process seems to take a long time (35 minutes!)
Do not interrupt the update process, if you do it will most likely kill your device
The firmware is available HERE

2012/05/13: New firmwares available soon
- Various new firmwares will be available soon. Both for Penbex and the SkyTC based devices.
2012/04/29: Penbex
- The Penbex corporate website has been down for a while now. Until now the database and the station website have been kept up and running. There have not been any updates to it for a long time now (last update is from october 7 2011). Unfortunately the station website now shows an error indicating it can no longer connect to the hosting companies database. There are still a number of files hosted on the server that the devices use. As long as these files remain available the devices with the official firmware can use them. As soon as these files get removed, all devices that use the official firmware will become useless. Also these files are not updated so the number of working links is getting lower each day. The alternative is to switch to the modified Penbex firmware that will give the device a second life as it then will use our database. If you have a device for which there is no modified firmware contact me and I will take a look at making a fix for your firmware as well.
2012/04/29: ListenLive firmware update
- Things are progressing well and we are getting close to a release. Several issues have been fixed and overal stability has been improved. Also, the aim is to release a new loader that will make it possible to install the recovery mode to all devices that do not have this feature yet. Of course there will also be recovery files for this.
2012/03/12: New forum feature
- It is now possible to search the forum subjects and/or message texts.
This should help to find the answers to your questions more easily.
2012/03/05: New firmware version released!
- The new version of the ListenLive firmware (v1.4) is now available.
Many things have been fixed and added.
2012/03/05: New loader for the Envivo PO1171 RM003 model is available in the download section
- First update to the loader, then update to the latest listenlive firmware.
Dont forget that you need to login to be able to download files from this server.
2012/03/05: Donations
- If you want to contribute to this project you can find more information on the Donate page.
I am also in need of a simple remote control as used with the Xoro models and some ram chips ;) See the forum for more info.
2012/03/04: Penbex and their Radio's
- The corporate website of Penbex has been offline for a while now. Also corporate mailboxes are full and do not get emptied..So it really looks like Penbex has closed down.
I will try to contact them to see what the status is.
2012/01/05: NEWS!
- Be aware of the following. The company that manufactures our devices (SkyTC) is tracking user behaviour and stores every server request in their database.
This includes the devices MAC and used IP address. All official firmware versions from 1.89 and higher have this behaviour.
2012/01/05: NEWS!
- The Listenlive firmware is available for almost all SkyTC based devices. If your model is not supported yet, it can easily be added. Use the forum to provide your model details.
- So far the following brand names are supported:
Xoro, Arnova, Envivo, Xenta, Wiwa, Pearl, Mediabox, Foxman, Xoro, DisGo, Rexcore, Otek and many others..
2012/01/01: Penbex and their Radio's
- it seems that Penbex is slowly dropping all forms of support for their devices. Their database server is still working but updates are very limited.
