Which gave a 404 error when I wrote my previous message but now it works.
I have cleaned up the database. Also checked some Hungarian streams for you.
When I have sme time, I will make a change so that you can modify them yourself.

These URLs are correct and also correctly seen as m3u file.
The settings of MP3/M3U/PL/WMA on the website are not used by the devices. (they are used by the Penbex devices though and these need to see MP3 for this URL)

The contents of the m3u file:

However, this url gives a 404 error: The file you requested could not be found

So there is a problem with the stream itself.
I checked the website, there they have a new URL for the stream:
http://radio.nordtelekom.hu:8000/gazdasagiradio.m3u
This M3U results in: http://radio.nordtelekom.hu:8000/gazdasagiradio

and that url gives 404 error:The file you requested could not be found

So the stream is down from the official Hungarian server...
We either need to wait until it returns or find an alternative stream.

Note that in this situation, if a station stops transmission for whatever reason, we can not do much.

Our devices do not use a standard version of MPlayer. If that was the case, I could simply recompile the latest version and use that.
Actually I can do that, but ti would not work well.. because then MPlayer is doing all work in software.
The CPU used in our devices is not fast enough to do decent video descrambling in software.

The CPU in our devices is kinda like a dual core CPU. It has a special part that does video things in hardware.
MPlayer is modified to make use of the extra hardware and thats why it works. Unfortunately the MPlayer version that is modified to use the hardware is an older version.
Some parts are even stripped from it. Probably because they would never work. The modifications were done by the company that made the CPU.

The manufacturer of your device has made modifications to the version that the CPU guys released. Their modifications sometimes do not improve the situation at all.
We use the original version from the CPU guys with our own modifications. We also tried to make newer mplayer version work but this is so complicated that it takes a lot of time.
So far I have a newer version working but it has issues with Video. Audio is done very well though. So I might at some stage release a firmware that has both mplayer versions inside to get the best of the two.

At this moment I dont know yet if I can get your station working on time with the 1.4 release. I dont want to wait too long with that release because it offers so many other great things.
But you are listed for Beta testing so even if it does not make it into 1.4 you might have a fix for it soon.

I use "URL snooper" to find the actual stream behind the pages. For the radio link it gives http://radio.mno.hu:8006/lanchid.m3u which forwards to http://radio.mno.hu:8006/lanchid
Both work. In this case the m3u is on the same server and has no addad value. In other cases the m3u file might be hosted on a broadcasters server while the stream comes from a streaming company. In thsoe cases the m3u is preferred as that one will stay the same whn they change to a different streaming company.

The video link in the database is mms://stream3.hirtv.net/hirtv.asf this stream does not work on the device and not work on my PC.
I get a "nop_streaming_read error : Resource temporarily unavailable" So this is due to the broadcaster and we can not do much about it other than finding a different source.

On the website however the stream works. (although I had some issues there as well.. after a few tries it seems to be ok.)
http://stream.mno.hu/delayed.mpg It is a video stream. It works on some players but here it fails on Windows Media Player and unfortunately also on the mplayer that is on our devices.
If I find some spare time, I will check mplayer to see what is causing this.
