Some kind of caching issue?! I will take a look..
Hmm.. actually.. that looks like the anti spam protection.
We can fix that as well..

I am looking into an update.
Removal of apps is mainly a cosmetic change. Not that important in relation to the number of boxes that will die in the firmware upgrade process.
What makes it interesting is the fact that it appears there are some problems with playing https streams, this would be a good reason to do an update which then includes the cleanup of course .
However, it will take a bit of time to investigate the https issue, test all the apps and see if they need to be removed or if we can do some other tricks through the server to get some apps working again..

Hello Larry,
I try to check my interventions with my XORO device for user inquiries about radio stations (new on the list or defective).
The current status is enough for me.
Every intervention on the radio device (the user has to perform the upgrade) can create new problems for the user.

The time delay in my forum access seems to have been eliminated. I hope it stays that way.

Forum overview:


It lasts up to two days, until I can read inputs of other users in the forum.
I.e., I can see an new input in the status "Last replied". And if the entry appears under "Latest Forum Posts" many hours or a few days later, I can also read it.

What do I make (already since many years) wrong?

It takes a long time before forum posts become visible to other members sometimes.

As an example, please look at this thread:

There is my post dated November 29th, 2017, 12:13 pm (CET).
I check the forum at least twice a day.
There was no update visible at noon (CET) of  December 1st, 2017.
I could read the updates prepared
 - November 29, 2017, 3:08 pm (EST)
 - November 29, 2017, 6:14 pm (EST)
 - December 1, 2017, 3:43 am (EST)
 - December 1, 2017, 3:52 am (EST)
at the late afternoon of December 1, 2017 (CET).

Mainly related to the updates dated November 29th, effective working is not possible with this delay.
